Welcome
to CAYNE.COM! This is Doug Cayne's development web site, a
portal to various sites and sections reflecting his interests and
activities. Most are still works in progress, while some are
operational, deployed on other sites, with links included here.
This webcam is located at Doug's home, Pinnacle
Ranch, in San Gregorio, California. It is on the central California coast
25 miles south of San Francisco. The camera looks north-northwest towards Half
Moon Bay. On a clear day, you can see the Half Moon Bay airport some 15
miles north.

CalifCoast.Net

Francisco, and the towns of San Gregorio and Pescadero. It is
designed to give pilots real-time weather information about local flying
conditions. A webcam looks northwest towards Half Moon Bay
airport, and show local sky conditions. The weather station
provides detailed current and historical weather. |

Ponceby.com
follows the adventures of Doug Cayne and John Fulton as they flew around
the world in a King Air (N898WW) named Ponceby in 1998. The
original web was fed in real-time throughout the six weeks of the
flight. Follow these aviators on their 25,000-mile trip through 16
countries on 24 flights. |
|
T-33.net
is a planned site, under construction, that chronicles the Lockheed
T-33A jet trainer, affectionately known as the "T-Bird."
It features the 1951 T-Bird, No. 128706, operated by the Golden Gate
Wing of the Confederate Air Force, of which Doug Cayne and John Fulton
are the two sponsors. They restored this plane in 1999, and
continue to operate it today. |
|
Flying
is a section of this web site focused on aviation in general and the
aircraft Doug Cayne owns and operates. These include the King Air
E90 and Lockheed T-33A mentioned above, as well as the Yak 52 shown to
the left and a Robinson R-22 helicopter. |
|
Cats
is a section devoted to my feline friends, past, present and future. |

Photo
Albums is a collection of Doug Cayne's photos that may be
interesting to his friends and family, and other voyeurs. Every
since the 'round-the-world trip in Ponceby, Doug has abandoned film and
embraced digital photography. His current camera of choice is his
Nikon D1. |
